Got there eventually. A nice force 3-4 on the only water within 400km of us and at last I managed to get out on the water.
Generally she handled rather nicely - definitely better with the jib and the mast raked back but not too bad under just the main. Need to sort out some cleatage for the lines as it was a little like wrestling an octopus at times but I was expecting to have to make more adjustments...

See if I can get it out again before christmas. Next thing to work towards - Gellong Wooden Boat festival in March...
p.s. I realised 2 seconds after the photo I had forgotten my lifejacket and returned to shore for it, but I look cooler in this picture than any of the others so it stays :)
